Where is my data stored? Is it private? +
Your meals, history, and settings live on your device only (browser localStorage or app storage). Meal descriptions or photos are only sent to the AI when you ask for analysis — never your personal data.
How accurate is the AI at counting calories? +
Very accurate for clearly described meals ("2 large eggs, 1 slice toast"). For vague portions, the AI asks 1–3 clarifying questions before estimating ("Was there butter on the toast? Roughly how big was the bowl?"). Every estimate shows a confidence badge — green for accurate, amber for approximate, red for low confidence. And you can edit any value before logging.
What's the difference between Calorina and Hera Caloris? +
Calorina is your nutrition advisor — she handles food, calories, macros, and meal ideas. Ask her things like "how many carbs in pasta?" or "what should I eat for dinner with 600 kcal left?"

Hera Caloris is your fitness coach — a descendant of Heraclius, she brings warrior-level discipline to workouts, energy, and motivation. Ask her "how long do I need to run to burn 500 kcal?" or "I missed the gym, what now?"

Can I use it on iPhone and Android? +
Yes. The web app works on any phone — open it in Safari or Chrome and tap "Add to Home Screen" to install it. It runs full-screen and feels just like a native app. A native Android version is also available.
Can I edit or delete a meal after logging it? +
Anytime. Every meal in your daily log has edit and delete buttons. Tap edit to change the calorie count, macros, or name. The pie chart and macro rings update instantly.
Is it suitable if I have diabetes, high cholesterol, or other conditions? +
Many people with diabetes use it to track carbs daily. People watching cholesterol use the fat ring. You can set custom macro targets in Settings to match whatever your doctor recommends.

That said — OriKcal is a tracking tool, not medical advice. Always follow your doctor's plan first, and use the app to help you stick to it.
How is my TDEE calculated? +
We use the Mifflin–St Jeor equation, the same formula sports dietitians and registered dietitians use professionally. It accounts for your age, sex, height, weight, and activity level. You can adjust the calculated number anytime in Settings if you find your real maintenance is slightly different.
